Meet Our Ministry Team
The Duncan's
Pastor Joe & Rebecca
Joe and I both completed seminary. Joe holds his ministerial license and is a student of God's word. He has a passionate heart for those who are hurting and may feel like the "black sheep" or an outcast. He has a very passionate preaching style. You won't see this pastor in a suit and tie, not because there is anything wrong with that, but that's not who he is.
He is kind, compassionate and loves to encourage others to step into their calling. His heart is to love all people. He feels deeply that helping build up Godly Men who wear the full Armour of God and lead their families; is one of his highest callings. God has brought Joe so far since his surrender and acceptance of Jesus Christ as his savior. He will admit his struggles and encourage others to pray for him and others who are struggling too. He asks that nobody place him on any type of pedestal for he is a flawed individual just like you. We are all called to share the gospel with everyone we can.
"People need to hear the gospel in order to believe and call on the Lord". Romans 10:14-15
I love learning about God's word as well and want to know as much as I can. One of my biggest passions is missions work both locally and internationally. God has softened my heart for those who have faced physical or sexual abuse and trauma. I love to share my testimony for the glory of God. I should be dead or addicted to drugs with kids who hate me.... BUT GOD! I am privileged to volunteer my time with SWITCH an upstate Human & Sex Trafficking Prevention organization. We want Clubhouse to be a place of hope and safety for those who are being drawn out of these dark situations by the obedience of faithful volunteers and The Holy Spirit.
Joe and I both grew up in challenging home situations. We got tired of "church" as usual and decided to take a leap of faith to start Clubhouse 314. We know that many people stop going to "church as usual" because they have been deeply wounded by the judgment, sharp tongues, and glaring eyes of those that fill the pew. Our goal is to follow Jesus's footsteps, in creating disciples that are passionate about spreading the word of God without fear, judgement, condemnation or a lack of self-confidence.
"But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light." 1 Peter 2:9
At Clubhouse you will find a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere with REAL people who love God and each other, through the good and bad. I hesitate to say we are a "family" as unfortunately that is where the devil attacks and wins the most. We are though...like a real family dysfunction and all. We just know how to stick around and love through good and bad decisions. Still living in sin? we will love you through it. Still struggling with addiction? we will love you through it. Struggling with pornography addition, sex addition, depression, anxiety, family hurt, past traumas, PTSD, physical limitations? WE WILL LOVE YOU THROUGHT IT! Notice we say that we will LOVE YOU through it. That implies that you are willing to let God help you walk out of your sin, pain, hurt and trauma. So, you can walk into the freedom of Christ. As Christ followers we cannot accept or condone sinful life choices but while GOD refines you, and you allow him to work in your life, we WILL LOVE YOU THROUGH IT.
"But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us". Romans 5:8
You see only God in his holy trinity can offer true freedom and peace. We are just the carriers of this amazing message called the GOSPEL. We won't be perfect, and I can almost guarantee we will hurt you unintentionally at some point. What I also know is that we will make things right if made aware. Gods Breathed, Holy and inspired word of God will be our guide as well walk the road of discipleship together.
"If your brother sins against you, go and confront him privately. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. Berean Literal Bible. And if your brother sins against you, go reprove him, between you and him alone. If he will hear you, you have gained your brother". Matthew 18:15

WE BELIEVE:

- In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
- In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
- That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.
- That all people sin and fall short of the glory of God.
- Repentance is commanded by God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.
- That once a person has understood and proclaimed that Jesus is Lord and that the only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ who died for all the sins of the world, took back the keys to heal sin and the grave, then rose again on the third day and ascended to be with God the Father at His right hand.
- In the baptism with the Holy Ghost.
- In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.
- In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
- We believe in miracles, foot washing, fasting, prayer, and forgiveness.
- That Jesus is coming back to reclaim his bride to take us to heaven.
- We believe in heaven and hell and that all will answer for their sins.
